IMG_2714-1-1024x683Fold the piece of fabric in half to double it and measure in 2×3 inches. Use a ruler and rotary knife to cut the fabric. Pin the pieces together.IMG_2770-1-1024x683Lower your presser foot and needle into the fabric. Set your machine on zigzag, then sew  forward. Push the reverse button and sew backwards. Repeat 2-3 times for security. Sew 3 out of 4 sides with a zigzag stitch, starting 1/2 on and 1/2 off to close the bag.IMG_2735-1-1024x683Fill bags with 1-2 TBSP of tea and cut the extra fabric off. Sew the open end with a zigzag stitch.IMG_2739-1-1024x683Cut squares out of cardstock paper and hearts out of the construction paper.IMG_2747-1-1024x683Thread a needle and pull the thread through the top corner of the teabag, threading it through the tag. Label the hearts, so you can color coordinate all your teas. Enjoy a custom made cup of tea or gift it to a friend! Make sure you seal the teabags in an airtight container with no moisture so it lasts longer.  EASY PEASY!IMG_2798-1-1024x683For delicious tea made by my sister, Melissa Longo, go to her website at www.healfarmacy.com
